Axyl Langford is a senior BFA Musical Theatre major at the University of Memphis. She is from Owasso, Oklahoma, and a citizen of the Cherokee Nation. Axyl is honored to have been cast in several of her favorite roles which include: Jo Taylor in Jagged Little Pill, Proxi in Punk Rock Girl!, Sara in Murder Ballad, Riff Raff in The Rocky Horror Show, Donna in Mamma Mia, Katherine Blake in Freaky Friday, Witch in Into the Woods, and Lindsay in Godspell. At the age of twelve, Axyl had the privilege of singing the duet “For Good” with Kristin Chenoweth in concert. She also won best actress at the 2019 Discovery Awards and went on to perform in NYC at the Jimmy Awards.
